Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

• Candidates should be born between 02 July 2005 and 02 January 2009.
• Maximum age at enrollment should not exceed 21 years.

Educational Qualifications

For Science Subjects:

• 10+2 with Math, Physics, and English with 50% aggregate and 50% in English, OR
• 3-Year Diploma in Engineering (any stream) with 50% marks (including English), OR
• 2-Year Vocational Course with Physics and Math (50% aggregate and English marks).

For Other than Science Subjects:

• 10+2 in any stream with 50% aggregate and 50% in English, OR
• 2-Year Vocational Course with 50% aggregate and English marks.

Note: Candidates eligible for science subjects can opt for both exam streams.

Physical & Medical Standards

• Height: 152 cm (males/females); Relaxation for NE, UT, Lakshadweep
• Chest: Min. 77 cm (males); 5 cm expansion required
• Weight: Proportionate to age and height
• Vision: 6/12 each eye, correctable to 6/6
• Tattoo Policy: Only allowed on inner forearms or as per tribal customs
• Medical Fitness: Must meet Indian Air Force standards

Selection Process

Phase I: Online Test

• Science Subjects: 60 mins | Physics, Math, English
• Non-Science Subjects: 45 mins | English, RAGA
• Both Streams: 85 mins | All above subjects
• Negative Marking: 0.25 for each wrong answer

Phase II:

• Physical Fitness Test (PFT):
  • Run: 1.6 km in 7 mins (Males), 8 mins (Females)
  • Push-ups/Squats/Sit-ups: Required as per gender norms
• Adaptability Tests I & II
• Document Verification

Phase III:

• Medical Examination based on IAF standards including lab tests, imaging, and gynaecological tests for females.

• No Gratuity or Pension.
• Not eligible for Ex-Serviceman (ESM) status after discharge.
