- Candidates with horse riding experience in Armed Forces/CAPF/NPA/Mounted Police: 5-year relaxation
Educational Qualification
- Higher Secondary Examination (Plus Two) passed or equivalent.
- Minimum one-year experience in playing Band/Bugle/Drum or allied musical instruments in a State/Central Govt.-registered Band Unit/Firm/Institution.
- Must pass a Practical Proficiency Test conducted by Kerala PSC.
Experience Certificate must be submitted in the prescribed format provided in the PDF.

1. Physical Standards
- Height: Minimum 168 cm
(SC/ST: 161 cm) - Chest: 81 cm (expansion 5 cm)
(SC/ST: 76 cm + 5 cm expansion)

📌 Training & Probation
- 9 months pre-service training at PTC/Kerala Police Academy.
- Trainees will receive stipend equal to minimum basic pay.
- 2 years probation within 3 years after training.
