What is the Ambedkar DBT Voucher Scheme?
This scheme is designed for students studying in government colleges on a rental basis (Paying Guest). The primary aim is to help students from SC, ST, OBC, MBC, EWS, and Minority categories to meet their living expenses while pursuing higher education.
Number of Beneficiaries:
- SC Students: 1500
- ST Students: 1500
- OBC Students: 750
- MBC Students: 750
- EWS Students: 500
- Minority Students: 500
How Much Financial Aid is Provided?
Students will get ₹2000 per month (maximum 10 months in a year) to cover expenses such as:
- Accommodation

- Electricity and other facilities
Ambedkar DBT Voucher Scheme : Eligibility Criteria
- Students must be studying in government colleges in academic courses such as Arts, Science, and Commerce.
- They should be living in rented accommodation (Paying Guest).
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Rajasthan.
- Parents’/Guardians’ annual income limit:
- SC, ST, SBC, Minorities: ₹2.5 lakh
- OBC: ₹1.5 lakh
- EWS: ₹1 lakh
