Educational Qualification
For Clinical & Non-Clinical Assistant Professor
- PG Degree (MD / MS / DNB) in the concerned specialty
- Degree must be from MCI/NMC recognized institutions
For Super Specialty Assistant Professor
- DM / MCh / DNB / DrNB in the concerned super specialty
- From MCI/NMC recognized institutions
Senior Residency Requirement
- One year Senior Residency is mandatory for Clinical & Non-Clinical posts
- Not required for Super Specialty posts
- DNB candidates from non-NMC recognized institutes must complete one additional year of Senior Residency
Age Limit (as on 01 July 2025)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 42 Years

- Central Institute PG Weightage – 5
- Contract / COVID / Rural / Tribal Service Weightage – As applicable

- Tribal Area – 2.5 marks per 6 months
- Rural Area – 2 marks per 6 months
- Urban Area – 1 mark per 6 months
