Vacancy & Eligibility Details

MECON is hiring for a total of 24 posts across various non-executive roles. The category-wise breakdown includes SC (02), ST (06), OBC-NCL (02), EWS (02), and General/UR (12).

Here are the specific educational requirements and available posts:

• Accountant (Post Code 01): 14 posts available. Candidates must have passed the Intermediate of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) OR The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI).
• Assistant (HR) (Post Code 02): 02 posts available. Requires a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), and basic computer knowledge is preferable.
• Assistant (Administration) (Post Code 03): 02 posts available. Requires a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), and basic computer knowledge is preferable.
• Assistant (Secretarial Service) (Post Code 04): 06 posts available. Requires a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), and basic computer knowledge is preferable.

All selected candidates will be placed in the S-6 Grade with a pay scale of Rs. 27,710 – 3% – 53,590/-.

• Accountant: The upper age limit is 30 years.
• All Assistant Posts (HR, Admin, Secretarial): The upper age limit is 28 years.
• Cut-off Date: The cut-off date for determining the age limit is 03.03.2026. Age relaxations are applicable as per Govt. of India guidelines (e.g., 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC-NCL).

Selection Process: Computer Based Test (CBT)

The selection will be based on a Computer Based Test (CBT). Eligible candidates will be shortlisted for the CBT based on the scrutiny of their online applications and uploaded documents.

CBT Exam Pattern:

• Total Questions: 100 questions.
• Total Duration: 90 minutes.
• Language: The question paper will be bilingual (English and Hindi).
