UPSC CSE 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

IAS, IPS, IFS: Citizen of India
Other services: Citizens of India, Nepal, Bhutan, Tibetan refugees (as per rules)

Age Limit (as on 1 August 2026)

Minimum Age: 21 years
Maximum Age: 32 years
Date of Birth Range: 02 August 1994 – 01 August 2005

Age Relaxation

SC/ST: 5 years
OBC: 3 years
PwBD: Up to 10 years
Ex-Servicemen: As per rules UPSC-CSE-2026-Notification.

Educational Qualification

A graduate degree from a recognized university
Final-year students are also eligible (subject to proof later)
